Prepare for observation!

The first part of August is the clearest period of the year in Hungary. The whole national astronomical community hopes very much that we can have a successful night observation round in the Olympiad. The accommodation site of students is ideal for observation. It is situated in the southernmost part of the low light polluted small city, Keszthely, with excellent panorama towards south.

The 150/750 Newtonian telescopes are being manufactured now, and will arrive to Hungary in May. The requested amateur astronomers, who will be the telescope operators, are waiting the observation round excitedly. This large telescope park, and the contest itself, will be a unique opportunity for them also.

Thus, prepare well for the observation round, and hope for clear skies on the competition!
